I am using Samsung Galaxy S i9000 on Froyo 2.2

Using the default wallpaper that the phone provides, the screen background picture is clear, crisp and sharp.

However, if I select any of my own wallpaper which is originally clear and sharp and put in on my screen background, it becomes blurry.

Can anybody kindly help ?

It's because Google's system likens to "zoom" in on the photo instead of utilizing the full picture making it all pixelated. The only real way around it that I found is to use a photo that is the actual size of the resolution of your screen, like the stock wallpapers.

Thank you for your reply.

Btw, anybody knows the actual size of the resolution for Galaxy S's screen, like the stock wallpapers ?

Strangely if I select my own pictures for my wallpaper, they will turned to be blurry but I just downloaded an app called "Featured Wallpapers" and any wallpapers inside this app weren't blurry when I select them as my wallpaper.

Anybody understands how this works ? *confused*
