Wanna Root... Have a few questions

Ok, so i am gonna root.. I just cant take it anymore... lol.. I am a compulsive rom flasher and just cant stand that i am not trying the new roms out... lol... BUT... Have just a few questions with the Evo (previously had a MT3G)

I already did the OTA update... I thought i saw a thread somewhere about downgrading prior to rooting but cant find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction, or let me know if i even need to downgrade before i use Toasts Root (which i am pretty sure i do but just want to verify)?

Hmm.. thought i had more but i guess thats it!!

If you did not use the unrevoked root you can use toast's method from your current rom. If you did use unrevoke you have to reflash to .6 and then use toast's method.
