Want Some 5G Data Speeds?

It's actually terabit, not terabyte. And that's not definitely not what we're getting once it rolls out to people
 
Frankly, I still find HSPA plenty fast. I'm not in any hurry to get 5G, and I hope the carriers aren't either. I'd rather get a price cut.

Yes, I stand corrected. Terabit. If Verizon continues to broaden their spectrum, it isn't that unbelievable. It's 5 years away. Do you realize how much R&D can get done in 5 years? If we landed on the moon in the 1960's, 1 Terabit per sec isn't unfathomable.

We don't even have widely available gigabit broadband yet. Terabit wireless is a lot more than 5 years away

I won't argue. You seem to follow tech news closely. And maybe you're right. But we can't ignore it was tested and accomplished. That leaves the door open to possibilities that right now may seem impossible.
