Want to Sync Calendar ONLY

Hey there,

I am a new Droid Pro user as of April 20th when my Verizon upgrade is effective.

I am coming from a Blackberry Tour.

I have searched the internet and the forums for the answer to this question, and I can't seem to find the answer.

I will want to sync ONLY my calendar, NOT my contacts to google/gmail. I currently use Gmail for my email service. Is there a way to do this on the Pro, as I have contacts in my phone that I do not necessarily need to my gmail account....I would like to have a backup of the calendar on only google at this point.

My husband has the Incredible, and by him downloading the Google/Gmail app, he was able to do this. Will this also work on the Pro? Is there a way to do this from the stock Pro settings without downloading an app for it?

You can choose what you like each account to sync to the phone. Just go to 'My Accounts' and tap on the account you which to modify, then check or uncheck what you want to sync.
