Wanted! Belt Clip / Car Dock Charging solution

Am I asking too much??? I have this for my Droid 3 and it's absolutely a perfect means to protect the phone, keep it charged while I'm in the car and keep it hands free, on the dash for safe access.

I see lots of belt clips available, a couple of car docks, but none that are designed to work together. I could live with a car dock that doesn't charge the phone if I could at least have one that adapts to accept the nexus with a case installed.

That is what I want as well. I am not betting you will find any such beast however. Right now I can't even find a decent car dock with 3-pin connection.

I guess it's +1 for Motorola and -1 for Samsung at the moment.

The car dock with the 3-pin connectors doesn't exist for the VZW Nexus just yet. I haven't even heard of anyone getting their hands on the GSM version (every place i look is out of stock).
I'm just waiting for someone with the VZW Nexus to try it with the GSM car dock. It would be great if it fit both. If not, we just need to keep our fingers crossed that an official verizon one comes out.
