So recently I bought the HTC U ultra International version from amazon(https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X928N4G/?tag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5690605 ). No Go. Its the DUAL SIM VERSION. It DOES NOT HAVE THE US or CANADIAN LTE BANDS 2, 4, 12 and 17. So anyone trying it buy it DO NOT buy it if you want to use it in the USA/CANADA/ LATIN AMERICA. Also the seller has misquoted the bands on the website. It is ALSO DUAL SIM.
The only one on Amazon that has the US LTE bands is the following. It is the SINGLE SIM MODEL. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N35POJA?tag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5690605). I asked the seller and IT WILL WORK. So anyone buying be careful and learn from my experience.
They also charged me a 20% restocking fee for the international version saying i did not verify the correct bands before buying. If your stated LTE bands are incorrect to begin with, how can you even make that argument? Guess i have my work cut out contesting that restock fee.
