Howdy folks! My question is as follows;

Will installing an ANDROID APK (so I can use Play Store -Google- apps) void the warranty on my Kindle Fire HDX?

is what I use to get the android apps. I don't know about warranty issues, but I wouldn't be adding any apks
as this is talked about in the Xda forums.

Play store requires you to root the device which would void it, side loading an apk would not as it is a function Amazon have left on the device and is as easy as installing or uninstalling any programming.
