In my state, Verizon doesn't offer the extended warranty, everything is through asurion. I am not sure what that means for the deductible.

In Florida, Verizon won't provided the extended warranty. Why, I don't know, but they don't. I just checked with Asurion, and they do provide the extended warranty for Florida customers, but the deductible is still $100.No deductible for extended warranty. Asurion is insurance and covers accidental damage and loss and has a deductible. It does not cover mechanical failure like warranty
