Yesterday, at approx. 8pm my phone decided to pull up a video add for that new crappy Dreamworks movie and something to do with Verizon, ON ITS OWN!

When I closed the browser it continued to open new windows to the add until I had to do a soft reset, then the problem went away.

Should I be concerned?

On the phone itself or on your PC? On the phone, no.

If it's something that happened when you plugged your phone into your PC you can easily disable that by right clicking on the Motorola system tray icon (not positive about that, I run Linux which doesn't need a custom driver).
