Was it all worth it?

I am happy with it so far, but it has only been about two hours since I got it. I am loving the huge screen!!!

Ive also noticed it shows fewer bars on 4g, however it seems to hang onto an LTE connection much better than my thunderbolt or charge did. Also with both of those devices there were problems with handoffs from 4g to 3g and back and the data just hangs and airplane mode would have to be toggled on and off to re-establish data connectivity. The nexus seems to transition much better as ive yet to experience that where i used to on the others several times a day

I did notice throughout the day today that it transitioned from 4G to 3G, but only periodically. Didn't really do that except for times when signal strength was almost gone on 4G. So, I think that feature is working as designed, which is good. But, sitting at my desk I noticed good 3G strength, just lower 4G strength. Same here at home. Currently, strength at 4G is -105 dBm, which is not that good.

I guess time will tell if an update corrects this.

I'm beyond happy. At first my local store didn't get their shipment, I was bummed out. Drove ~35 miles to the another store, they had plenty and only two people in front of me. Been playing around with it for ~2 hours straight this afternoon. Super pleased with the phone, a tad bigger than I thought it would be width and height wise but nothing shocking. A bit heavier than expected but a bit thinner too. Has a quality feel to it, screen is excellent yadda yadda.

I was very happy when I asked about accessories and my store had everything but the desk dock!! They even had a handful of cases, and to my surprise and Incipio! Perfect! Picked up the phone, extended battery, and case. Going back some other time once I decide I need the other charge (didn't want three batteries) and look into getting something to mount it in my car with. Thinking of going proclip again though since Verizon cheaped out on us with theirs....

Loving this phone beyond belief. So insanely super responsive and quick. Stock keyboard is actually really easy to type on, coming from swype, so happy with that. A phone im absolutley happy with right out of the box and stock. Might not need to root for awhile. I thought the tbolt was a good phone but wow this phone is just amazing.

Same here. I thought I'd miss Swype, but I'm kinda digging the stock keyboard, the more I use it. Predictive feature is very nice, and detects two-word phrases well.

I placed my order at 10:30 pm 12/14/11(released 1am est) and cant wait for this thing to come!!!! should be an easy transition since i have had ICS on my Fassy for the past 2 weeks thanks to JT. i jsut cant wait, ive wanted a nexus since the day google said the N-one was gonna be on verizon then never did. but i can already tell im gonna love this thing.

Coming from a Droid X (which was a good phone), the GN is freaking awesome. Lovin ICS more than i thought i would. I heard alot of reports of the phone feeling "cheap" because the back is made of plastic but honestly, it feels pretty good to me. Not to heavy and not to light. I thought my DX was a bit too heavy so the GN is perfect.

It's super fast and the screen is gorgeous. Can't wait to dig deeper into ICS and really put the phone through the paces.

seems like this phone is a little overrated.. which was predictable. but at least some are enjoying the device. i'm fine with waiting another month or so just to see how everything pans out.

I'm enjoying it and have had a smile on my face all day.
