Was it worth buying?

Well the whole point of me coming off a phone contract and going SIM only is to save money and modern day phones are pretty powerful, I'm trying to build a PC too. However.... I have this issue with the notes...

Note 2 = Doesn't charge. Note 4 = Hardware failure and couldn't claim under warranty because they claimed I rooted it (I didn't), and now today... Another hardware failure. This time I've claimed under warranty, but because I keep getting "MMC_Read Failed", and the battery doesn't last or it restarts when I'm on social media... I bought myself an S7 Edge too. Was it worth the buy? Or was there not much of a difference between the phones? I considered an S8+ but that's quite expensive also.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you asking if there's not much difference between the S7 edge and the S8? Or are you comparing your old Note 4?
