Was your Galaxy Nexus made in China or Korea?

Korea here..............no problems at all with it
I'm the 2nd owner of it, but the initial owner got it when they were first released.

Everything made in China sucks.

The one I received Friday was supposed to be a CLN device. Upon going into the dialer menu I discovered it was brand new. Also a March build in Korea.

Got a replacement one too recently. Original one - Bought Dec. 15th, Korean, not sure where to find the date. Major data issues, no 4G in my house, and finally just lost all signal completely. New one - Korean on the label under the battery, says Model: 11.12, STA 4/20/2012.

Can someone please explain to me if you can tell if it is "brand new" or refurbished, and how? Dont quite understand the dialer comment above. Thanks

Korea, 11.11 ordered via VZW customer care ~7 days after launch.

a few reboots before 4.0.4 update, and poor indoor reception (bad enough to completely drop signal) - perfect since update.

Ordered mine online the 1st night available at 1AM

Made in Korea

Great device with some minor faults:
- I do get the mic cut out, it does affect calls but does not drive me too crazy (yet)
- Very rare reboots, <5 since I've gotten it, all of them occurring in Navigation mode, have had none since flashing AOKP
- No data dropout but I do have poor signal. Great signal in my hometown, I've noticed some signal drops when I venture out though.
- I do get some dropped calls from time to time
- Flawless screen
- Flaweless wifi

There are three Galaxy Nexus smartphones in my family
and all theee are MADE IN KOREA! Yay!!!

(1) VZW version, 12/2011, absolutely flawless
(2) overseas GSM version, 2/2012, absolutely flawless
(3) VZW version, 4/2012, absolutely flawless(except battery door very tight)

Samsung is Korean... duh! I wouldn't want to fly on a Boeing or Airbus built in China.(soon)
Or a Armani suit made in China. Or a non-Japanese sushi chef. Or a Canadian siging the
US anthem at Super Bown.(sorry, no offense to Canadian, who are the nice people)
Or a Heineken brewed in America. :D

#1 China - dropped 4G and voice several times per hour
#2 Korea - dropped 4G about 2-3 times a day and screen was subpar (dull colors)
#3 China - dropped 4G and voice several times per hour
#4 On its way!

Go into your dialer and dial *#*#RTN#*#* (*#*#786#*#*). It will pull up a screen with RTN. Click and check reconditioned status.

Mine says "NO" so it should mean it is a new phone. First activated 5/24/2012 which is the day I received it.

China. Nothing too major, 3G/4G drops on occasion but I'm used to that also happening on my Droid X. I deal with it, far too lazy to get a replacement, especially when it seems a lot of the replacements people are getting are worse. If it ain't broke...

Is there any way to get a Korean one for sure (by calling google or something?) I have a chinese one and it breaks my heart.

Korea 11.11. Got sometime in January I think.
I've had mic cut out, random reboots and hand-off issues. Since the last update to 4.0.4 I've had far fewer reboots, but the mic cut continues every once in awhile.

Launch day release here (I was 11th in line) - Made in Korea 11.11 date. No issues ever.

My Original was made in Korea and everything was going wrong with it, my replacement is China made with an 11/15 date and so far it's been flawless
