Hey guys and girls, as the creator of this thread I'm going to to have to say that my
screen seems to be ok now, its like another N7 took its place,the colours aren't as vibrant
as an amo screen but thats what you get with IPS technology,lets hope that it stays like this,so the rumours are correct ,on some models the screen needs to warm up,in my case at least a day. To be honest I think that I've been spoilt by G-nexus screen.

I'm glad to here that. I received my N7 today and have noticed the screen was much more washed out then my EVO LTE. I noted when looking at the blue bar on the Facebook app. It isn't all that annoying (at least not enough for me to return it) so I'll keep it and hope it gets better. Thanks guys and gals.
The Evo LTE has the best screen on any smartphone in existence. Of course it will look better.

Dot really think a screen shot is going to tell us. A pictures of the screen from say your phone might.

You have to take a picture of the display (and then it can be hard to tell based on the quality of the camera taking the picture). A screenshot won't show issues with screen calibration, dead pixels, and such.

Your display could be smashed to smithereens with liquid crystal leaking out and your screen shot would look perfect.
Take a photo and post it please. Just got my N7 today and thought to myself it looked washed out. Now I'm really paranoid .... LOL. Thanks!
Just got my N7 and I love it but the screen is super cloudy like you described. Reviews raved about the crisp vibrant display but mine is so Cloudy and dull. Really disappointed. I find it hard to believe I have to let it warm up for a few days before the screen starts to look good. Anyone know of a fix or do I need to return it?
I just got off phone with Google and tech support said its a known issue with no fix. They Said its considered DOA and they will replace it. Its a manufacturer hardware problem. It either has it or it doesn't. I got mine at office max so I must return it to them for another one....assuming they have one.
