One more thing to add that's funny
.is Galaxy watch doesn't charge on my samsung wireless charger or my huawei wireless charger but works on my Note 10 plus power share ...weird right...but iam glad it works

For those using the Galaxy Watch with your Note10 +, how is your Note10+ battery life? how is your GW battery life?

My Note 10+ lasts more than a day. Not that I need it to. I have chargers (wired and wireless) at home, at work and in my car and I carry a small battery pack for emergencies.

I'm still using my Gear S3 watch. It's almost 3 years old and still lasts 2 days if I need it to. Again, I find it easier to just put it on the charger for an hour a day and keep it topped off.

I have the Gear S3 Frontier - as a smartwatch it's very good, looks very good, but it's not good at all for health/fitness. Heartrate monitor, which is really the core of what you want it for, doesn't work when you're moving.

I was in the Samsung 837 store last year and they told me the Galaxy watch was no better. Have seen the same online comments for every other Samsung watch in the past. Hoping they'll come out with a watch that rivals the fitbit for health/fitness.

I got a Galaxy Active free with my Note10+ and... Too small, too few apps, not so great autonomy. Health sensors are.ok but, compared with my Garmin and my Apple Watch 4, it pales.

Yes, the watch I most use with my Note is... The Apple Watch. Ate least, where I can access a WiFi network it works like a charm. At home I use my iPhone X to setup it and, that's good to go. That days I drop my Note for the iPhone, Apple Watch becomes a no-brainer option.

I got the Galaxy watch and it easily lasts me 4-5 days before I have to recharge. I did think about getting the Active 2 for the smaller footprint but I'll probably hold off.

I just recently picked up the Active Watch 2 to go with my Note 10+ 5G. Really good combination. I haven't really tested the battery life of the watch yet as I put it on the charger every night. But it's never been below 60% late at night when I take it off and that's with all of the notifications on. And the one day I turned on the AOD, I still had around 50% after about 15 hours of use.

Coming from an Apple watch series 2, I've been very impressed.

Looks like the active 2 LTE will be released on October 8th. I will pick one of these up on release day.

Really? I got mine yesterday and the battery lasted 26 hours. Hoping that's because I was setting it up and stuff...

I disagree. The heart rate works just fine when you're moving. I'm not a professional athlete so my S3 works just fine for fitness tracking.

I second that. Got my active 2 today and I'm pretty impressed. I like the size and the display. My last watch was an apple watch 4.

You're one of the few. Google it. If you're moving and sweating etc. most everyone gets a message telling you to dry it off or stand still - not really ideal when exercising. I got a heartrate reading without the error message about 1 in 20 attempts.

Samsung still has to improve the "fitness" aspect of the wearables. They're still limited in the scope and accuracy of parameters measures. I have a Gear S2 Classic and a Galaxy Watch. Both are working great as regards my needs: notifications, timer, telling the time and looking cool on my wrist.

What sizes?

I was previously all excited about my Samsung Galaxy 42mm watch, which I still like a lot paired with my Note 10+ phone.

But over time, I noticed that despite all the many features, I really only use it for very limited functions most of the day:

1) The ability to choose custom watchfaces to have one that has giant font sizes so I can read the time/date info easily without glasses on. My Citizen Ecodrive analog watches are great, but I simply cannot read the small fonts anymore.

2) The great alert notifications so that anything that flashes on my Note 10+ phone automatically flashes on my Galaxy watch simultaneously (eg: text, email, calendar appts, and many others). The reason this is important to me is so with a flick of my wrist, I can instantly see whether an alert is important enough to pull out my phone out of my pocket for further inspection or not. My watch saves me from having to constantly pull out my phone from my pocket wondering whether something is urgent or not. That alone is worth $$. Even better, if it's an alert that is important enough to respond quickly, I can simply choose a drop down menu of saved preset messages to send through my watch, such as "Can't talk now", "Will be there in 5 min", "Please leave me a voice message", etc. Love sending those preset saved messages from my watch, so convenient! That means I can leave my phone in my pocket. Most of the time I just simply choose a smiley emoji to reply back to let the person know I received their message.

3) The daily wake up alarm app on the watch is great! I use it daily to give me an audible tone along with vibration to wake me at 5:20am Monday to Friday, but turned off on weekends. Great app!

4) Step counter works great, also use the heart rate monitor too.

So even though my watch can do a bunch more stuff, those are the above items most important to me after using my Galaxy watch for the past couple months.

Plus my 42mm Galaxy watch (Bluetooth only) has great battery life. I pull the watch off my Samsung Duo charger at around 5:30am. At 5:30pm, some 12 hours later, my battery life is still around 85% charge left. If necessary, I can use the Power Share function of my Note 10+ phone to wirelessly top off my watch with extra juice.

Most everyone? I doubt it. You typically only hear the complaints, which is not an accurate representation of all the users. Sounds like you have a defective watch. I've never seen the error you posted. Don't doubt you, just never seen it. I think you're actually the first person I've ever seen post about it.

I wear mine in the shower, running, eliptical, weightlifting, walking, HIIT. It gets plenty wet with sweat. The HR feature works just fine.

I'm guessing you've applied all the updates?
