I don't get my phone wet... Honestly, I don't need to shower with my phone. But it's nice to see that if it does get wet, it seems to manage...

That is pretty amazing...I do shower with my phone to listen to music and use as a flashlight if the power goes out mid shower -_- but until the pixel LifeProof is released I'll have to still use my turbo for certain stuff

Do you frequently have power shut off when you shower? Little weird. I mean shoddy wiring aside at a rental or apt I get, but anywhere else seems a bit odd...

No all that often but I live in the middle of no where so it's not out of the possibilities

That's very impressive for both phones, I appreciate the sammy is waterproof but I'd be surprised if the warranty covers being hacked out of block of ice after 10 hours.

The pixels waterproofing is more than enough for me (clearly tempting fate now, I'm bound to drop my phone in a vat of acid) - I do use my phone in the rain from time to time (Nexus 5X) and the pixel is more water resistant than that so it should be fine for any sensible use.

And it's nice to know that if I do drop my phone in a shallow pond, and it then freezes over, and I forget to dig it out until the folowing morning it'll probably still be alright.

I liked that the Note 7 was IP68, but never intended to test it. I never even tested when I new I was going to send it back. I may get over it when they are truly water proof.

How long are you in the shower??? lol

I am in and out in 5, 10 minutes is really long if I'm tired and letting the hot water run down my back.
