water damaged motherboard and charing port

hi

samsung repairs have said my motherboard and charging port have water damage and thus are unable to fix it under my warranty. is it worth getting this fixed or is it better to buy a new phone. as it stands the phone wont charge and the phone wont lock and go into standby

Depends on how much it costs to fix. If its cheaper to fix it then fix it. If not get a new phone.

is this normal for mobile companies to not honour warranty if the phone has suffered water damage even if its not through ones one doing? i could understand if i had drop the phone into water or something but nothing of the sort has happened

So your saying the liquid damage happened during manufacturing?
It had to be someones doing as i dont think they add water when the units are made.
