water damaged screen. help!

Hello I had a similar problem applying a screen protector. How did the rice end up working? I have had mine in for a half day so far and when I get home from work I am going to see how it looks. Thanks

Rice worked pretty well just do it quickly. Don't give it a chance to set in. I've still got a few spots but its completely bareable.

awesome, I got rice as soon as it happened so it still took about an hour until I got it in. After one day there was just one spot it looks like so I'm doing one more day.

You can try to fix it or claim insurance. Check out the tear down guide it it easy to get to the screen to clean it.

But if you submerged it then claim that insurance things will start to fail later down the road. I submerged my g1 dried it out with the cilica packets that come in shoes for a few days. Worked great at first, but 2 months down the road the in call speaker sounded blown. Then I claimed insurance.

I didn't get insurance in time so if anything happens to mine im SOL. 150 ain't so bad....

I really need help too, 2 days ago my lg dropped in a pool, after that I put it in rice for the next two days, I didn't seem to work without it on the charger so I put it on charge and turned it on.
the screen had letters on it and at the button it was a gray colour, have no idea how to fix that, I don't think I can show pictures becuase after that the screen didn't turn on
