ways to get a new sim

I am switching to a new phone next weekend when I return to Florida. I will need a nano sim and presently have a micro sim.

What is the best way to get a new one?

No go. spoke with several persons and got the same reply. I am also on prepaid and if I buy a sim for $10 currently on sale $15 off I could run into a problem as the help told me they have a phone number associated with them and I could end up with a new number then have mess around to get my number back on the phone.
I am just going to bite the bullet and go to a store and pay $20 plus tax

You have to try your luck w/ reps. When I was on T-Mobile the store near me sometimes would give them to me without the fee.

I basically hated this fee for the SIM because it is an activation fee for the most part. John tried to act like they got rid of them but calling a SIM charge of $20 is the same as calling it an activation fee IMO.
