wear 5(?) update failing.

Twice now, I gotten a system update for the watch and both times it has failed. It reboots the recovery screen.
I not sure if this the new wear 5 update or something else. This last time I had it do a factory reset in hopes of fixing the problem.

Anyway one else having this problem?
The watch version is 4.4W.2 and says it update date. The wear app is version 1.0.5.1530507 running on a Moto G GPE 5.0.1 assuming any of that info helps.:p
 
And I have not gotten the update again either. :( so no idea that fixed it or not. but at least the watch is working correctly.
 
Just got another attempt at the update. Failed.

sorry for the poor quality on the first one, if I touch or move the watch, it moves on to the second the recovery screen.

Have you tried to contact lg?

I finally got my update last night and it all went smooth for me. I would contact lg or google.

Yea I tried their livechat. There are no people on livechat that know lg watches. told me to call the suport line.
called support (1-800-243-0000) and the tech very nicely explained how to reset the device (using a paper clip on the back) and that I should wait for the next update. Which failed :(

So in the last 30 minutes, I traveled a "darker" road. I did the manual flash to update it. Which also failed... So I had it do a restore of both the wear image and boot image "back to stock" and now it updated correctly. :)
 
Glad it finally worked for you. It sucks that you had to do all of the extra stuff just to get it updated.
