Weather animation stays on

Something happened to my clock, so i had to re-add it to the front screen. Now my weather animation is back on. I have turned it off (un check "Show Full screen animation and hit DONE) but it keeps coming back and the check gets turned back on. In the Settings i even went into Display and turn off Animation. Any ideas?

Have you tried finding the process that runs that and clearing data and defaults?

that is a great idea, but i don't know what process controls that. I looked in Running Services and nothing jumps out at me of what it could be
