I wanted to bring up two little issues I've been noticing recently.
The first is kind of funny, if anything, and that's that my HTC weather app seems to default to "sunny with storms" or "cloudy with storms" or whatever the real weather is, but "with storms" every hour or two. It's set on a 3 hour update interval, and within an hour of my last update, it'll start showing storms again, but if I open the app and force it to update early, it'll go right back to saying sunny or cloudy or whatever it really is outside. Storms have definitely not been on the forecast for at least over a week, so I'm not sure where the app is getting this or why. The plus side? I use the weather lockscreen because I think it's gorgeous, and the storm effect is one of the most eye-candy-licious of them all, so..at least it's not visually displeasing, heh.
My second issue is that normally my battery life is pretty great. One of the most impressive things is that if I don't use teh phone at all, it uses almost no power (so at night basically). I can often take it off the charger at night, and when I wake up in the morning it's still at 96% or so. Well, some days, when I wake up, it's at 70%, and when I check my battery, it says that "Android OS" has been running big time throughout the whole night. Usually this is a relatively small portion of the battery usage, so I have no idea what would make it suddenly spike up from time to time.
Any ideas about either one of these?
