Weather widget

I switched from a HTC Sensation XE to my Note 2 in January. I'm absolutely in love with this phone, the only thing I really miss is the animated weather app that came with my old phone. I've looked into other weather apps and like the polished detail but I like there to be a picture of the weather as well.

Can anyone recommend a good weather app, particularly one that has a picture and also animations?

Another question re weather widget. I have the accuweather widget on my home screen- phone came that way. I can not find how to get the widget to automatically refresh.I have to hit the little refresh section bottom right. Is there a solution?

Tap on the weather widget which opens it up. then tap on the menu icon on the lower left next to the home button. the settings icon will appear and then tap that to open it up. there is a setting for auto refresh in there.

I really like the combo I am using now, it's the windmill live wallpaper that changes to show your current weather conditions (according to Accuweather) along with the mini Weather Channel widget that gives conditions and temperature.
I wish I had taken a screenshot about an hour ago, it accurately showed nighttime with snow falling and rain running down the outside of the window at the same time - pretty neat. It has stopped coming down right now so it's just with very light snow, hence rather boring.

1Weather is a really awesome animated weather app with widgets. 1Weather for Android
It shows the current weather conditions via animations and all other sorts of cool stuff for being FREE.

Also, there's BeWeather app, https://forums.androidcentral.com/e....bellshare.beweatherfree&hl=en&token=l996hT-r which also has animated weather but, this one has actual weather like animations i.e. it shows a screen of grassy plains with a bright sunn and clouds flowing if its sunny and clear. Its shows a screen of a dark and gloomy background with actual rain drops-dropping if its raining out, etc... Its FREE as well.

One last cool weather widget you might like and/or find helpful is DashClock Widget.

Its a weather widget you can add to your lockscreen that shows the current weather AND conditions, PLUS, it has add-ons that you can add to the DashClock Widget to display alongside the weather info, such as Plume for Twitter (Only Twitter app that allows this for now- I think), and missed calls and other cool add-ons. Check em out and find out for yourself. The great thing about FREE apps and Apps in general is, you can always UnInstall them if you don't find them useful or lik em. Good luck. +1 on 1Weather. The notification weather bar is all I need. Not like the ones comes stock on our phones. Don't wanna lose too much real estate just for the weather app.

I use Beautiful Widgets and themed it like Sense. Coming from the HTC Amaze I also missed the Sense Weather and Clock Widget.

Maybe try the weather clock in "beautiful widgets"

It tries to copy the HTC sense clock and weather and has many different skins to download.

I too miss the sense ui and this is the closest I have found to it.
