I have a LG Stylo 2..when is got set up it use to open up with the weather at the top of the screen. I accidental swipe the weather off the screen. How do I put it back

A widget is a box, usually large that gives information at a glance. Weather widgets are good examples due to them having temp, conditions, etc.

Great..then I'm missing my weather widget..how do I get it back?

You can long press any blank space on your homscreen. That will bring up options to add a widget.

Great..did it..I was able to get the weather back..can I make the weather widget more transparent so it does not cut off my wallpaper?

Most weather apps are pretty static about what your choices are. 1Weather on Play has its widgets pretty customizable.
