Webpage not found pop-up!!

I keep getting this random android webpage not found pop-up up. It occurs randomly on my home screen or when clicking on apps. It's clearly a virus but every program I've run fails to find it. I cleared all recently installed apps and restarted the phone. Popups were disabled thru chrome and thru my Google account on the phone as well.

Welcome to Android Central! It's not necessarily a virus -- it could be adware that was installed alongside some other app, and the ad network it relies on isn't working correctly.
