Back to school means many things to me. It's a return to work, it's the end of the summer holidays, it's getting back on the bus that takes up so much of my day. But it's also a chance to see friends again, and every now and again a chance to go on a trip that claims to have some educational value, but we all know it's just an excuse to get out of the classroom. And so this is when my picture was taken, on a trip to Italy in the Forum. I took this on my Motorola Atrix (which unfortunately would meet its end within a month of this picture being taken due to a faulty digitizer, but that's another story). I edited this picture as I usually do, in the Gallery app on the phone (I'm no professional but I do my best). Unfortunately the image is a little low res, but that's only because the camera on that phone wasn't exactly brilliant...
As a side note: I'm kind of glad that Apple added a fingerprint scanner on the iPhone 5S. I'm definitely not getting that phone, but I loved how convenient the fingerprint scanner was on the Atrix, and hopefully other manufactures add them on their future devices.
Edit (2): I decided to do a little more editing work in Pixlr Touch Up (it's actually really nice Chrome Desktop application), and added some cropping as well as a boost to the colours - it looked a little washed out to my eyes, but then again, I'm slightly colour blind... This was taken at Cape Canaveral beach. The last day of Summer for us. My teenage daughter started her 1st day of school with this souvenir. A salt water L.G Viper. This pic was taken with a SSGE4gTouch on Sprint and a PowerCam app.
A photo of me and my relay team when we won the hershey's North American Track And Field Championships, Fastest 14 Year Old boys Relay team in North America with a time of 46.00. Both pictures were taken with my Samsung Galaxy S4 Before it was stolen at a track meet. This was our last track meet but it was a great way to end off the summer. Together as a family, we worked hard for it and we earned it. And that's what made this summer truly amazing
My sons 1st day of Fifth Grade (today 8/21/2013). HE is Definitely the BMOC! This is what Back To School means to me. I used my Galaxy S3 to take the picture, and applied a few filters using PicSay Pro.
Back to school time to figure out how to put my Nexus 7 back together again after shattering the screen and digitizer! Taking it apart was easy enough. Putting it together with the new screen, well we shall see. I took this picture with my Nexus 4.
