Back to school means no money and Autumn (but I decided a picture of my empty wallet was kind of boring). Taken with my old Moto Atrix last fall. G+ enhanced
Pic was taken with a borrowed HTC one, lent my friend my sgs3 so I can use the HTC one and they dropped my sgs3 and now not only want the HTC one back but isn't going to help fix my sgs3...needless to say I'm pissed and in need of a phone!!!
School season is an adventure, not only for me but for the kids I teach. Their energy and enthusiasm brings out the best in me. I took this on a field trip to the Music Instrument Museum in Phoenix with an after school program I teach. It's easy to pull off a great shot when the museum does the lighting for you so all I did was adjust the contrast in Photoshop (desktop version). This shot was taken with a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant:
I certainly do not look forward to studying, but I really do enjoy those one hour breaks. I usually go to the closest restaurant to buy some snacks and on rare occasions I get something like this.
This was taken in my homeland, Sri-Lanka during my summer trip. This hotel is built in to the cliff face and overlooks the man-made reservoir of Kandalama. This photo was filtered but has been reverted to it's original. Taken from my Nexus 4 College student studying abroad, could use that laptop!
Oh the cheese wagon, cheese-mobile or the short bus. Whatever they like to call them nowadays. Back to school means these things are back on the road and I was unfortunately stuck behind it for a while. The back story to the photo was that i've been figuring out what I wanted to capture for my entry to this contest for maybe two days now. So the first thing that came to mind as I drove through the school zones was the school bus. Luckily for me I found myself stuck behind one and here was my shot...while driving .
Taken with my Nexus 4. This time post-edited through iPhoto.
