Taken with my HTC amaze. No touch ups or anything. Just enjoyed the cloud and the sun fading in it. It was a gorgeous day. Used the auto enhance on the tapatalk app
Back to school is about transformation, through education, to make yourself better. Thought this butterfly went well with that thought. Taken with my GNex stock camera app, slight editing with Picsay Pro. Colors were not enhanced.
Here at Texas A&M University, we have a proud tradition of placing pennies at the feet of the statue of former Governor of Texas and President of A&M, Lawrence Sullivan "Sully" Ross. We place the pennies there as a token of good luck before an exam.
Took this one two weeks ago in the High Uinta Wilderness using my galaxy S3 running PA. Added the bleach effect using the stock gallery app. This was our last hoorah before the end of summer! Had to hike in about 15 miles up over 11000 feet to get into this lake.
Taken using Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition with ProCapture and Photojojo 2x Telephoto Lens. Some editing done in Google+ Photos. My girlfriend could use the Play Edition Phone and I could use the Chromebook Pixel!
Shot on the Eastern Washington University campus with a Nexus 4, edited in Snapseed. A number of years ago, an old single room schoolhouse was moved from the local area onto the EWU campus and restored (should have a shot of it for next week, having a heck of a time getting good lighting). Some time later, a fountain and garden were added near the schoolhouse as a memorial to the closing of a nearby elementary school and 3 statues of children were commissioned to represent the roots, present and future for students.
Ben and Candy, shown in this photo, represent the roots of education (and tie into the one room schoolhouse with their large print book). I've been in this garden a number of times and enjoy a new perspective each time I shoot. On the evenings leading up to this shot, I was especially touched by the unassuming nature of the boy and girl as they study the book together. I wager most of us could benefit from the attitude the sculpture evokes as we hopefully continue to learn and grow through our entire lifetime and especially as we approach a new school year.
