Taken on Nexus 5 w/ Google Camera's lens blur; color-corrected using Snapseed. An unusual perspective on the viola, in a jarring setting.

Mo's Last Day At The Beach

This picture was taken with my Note 3 and fixed up with Instagram.

This is my pug now going on 14 and he is sadly going to be put to sleep on Wednesday. He is the best dog anyone could ever have and this is more of a tribute to him than anything else.

Moto G [XT1034] in HDR Mode. Overlooking the Puget Sound from Seattle, WA

I just moved to Seattle from Phoenix about a month ago. I lucked out and found myself an amazing job on the 33rd floor of a corporate tower in Downtown Seattle. This is the view from next to the reception desk. Having these views every day is part of the luck I feel about this job. In addition to the pay and proximity to where I live. I have no regrets and I feel like this is going to do great things for my life.

Congrats!

Source of one of my favorite smells. A pair of lemon blossom cling to a lemon tree; one slowly losing its petals. There's only a few left for the season, and they're dropping off quickly!

Taken with a Nexus 4 using Lens Blur, then edited in-camera for crop, vignette, exposure, and center sharpness.

The logo on the front of an early 70's (1971?) Plymouth Roadrunner 383. Unfortunately, I can't claim ownership of this beauty; I found it in a restaurant parking lot. Shot with my Galaxy S3 and edited in Snapseed. 20140412_134652_W Elm St_HDR_1.jpg

Photo take using Google Camera on my Moto G. It turned out quite nicely taking into account the less than decent hardware I am dealing with. I added a filter from Tapatalk. The unedited photo is underneath.

Device: Moto G

Camera App: Google Camera w/ Blur

Editting: Built in Tapatalk filter

Backstory: I was helping on of my friends with a school project out in a creek. We were putting together a movie trailer for a book titles Into Thin Air. The book is about climbing Everest and we live in Houston, so we are wearing ski jackets and other various ski gear in 90? weather. I took a break because I was getting rather hot and looked down and saw this little cropping of rocks with the water. My thoughts were "Hey, blurred camera shots are a thing now thanks to Google. I should try it out." Well, this is what I came out with.

My father's business was going through a rough patch, and he is all pro Android. So I decided to spend a few bucks on a little business man Android figurine for his desk to brighten his day. He then set out to go find his motivation. He found Rosie the Riveter and used her to rally his office into motion. This photo contains the motivation that barely enabled me to have a Moto G, so a HTC M8 is out of the question. I know this is a sob story, but that is the point of the back story right? The swing the votes to my favor? Well anyways, an HTC M8 GpE would just light up my world :) maybe then, I can take some photos actually worth looking at.

Submission for Focus and Blur Contest: Poppies along the California Coast.

Setup:
Nexus 4, stock camera app (before blur update! I had no wifi to update with on the trip), no filters or editing. Taken April 19th, 2014.

Location: About 4 miles north of San Simian on the Pacific Coast Highway. We pulled over to look as some sea life (dolphins?), and I snapped some pictures of these beauties growing next to the highway.
