Weekly Photo Contest: Treats

This picture, taken almost exactly a year ago with my HTC Thunderbolt, no effects, zero edits.
I was surprised the picture came out as crisp as it did, especially considering how substantially dark is was at the restaurant as well as how old my phone's hard/software is (waiting on new moto x)

If we're on the subject of treats, besides that it's beer, check out the label:

The taste was nice and so took a picture of the beer so that I'd remember it for future.

Hand-made saltwater taffy my wife and I bought while in Savannah. We go every year for our Anniversary and every year we go to the same place to get these chewy little bits of awesome. This photo was taken with an HTC Rezound and fine-tuned in Snapseed, then Color Splash Effect.

Picture I took with my M8 for my wife's candy/dessert/party favor business.

It was a low light picture. I thought the black and white provided nice contrast. I've been reading about different composition techniques, and I was trying to use "rabatment of the rectangle". I'd love some feedback.

Edit: Taking some measurements of the full size image, it looks like I was off in my rabatment attempt. If I can find time, I might try some cropping (haven't done that yet)
