This is a picture of the decorative wall from The Fish Market restaurant in downtown Birmingham, AL. I thought the plain wood wall might pop with a little filtering.

I was walking around my campus today and looked toward our library (the big brown building) and saw a pretty good mixture of trees with leaves and trees without so I decided to snap this photo on my Galaxy S4. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Wood idols on wood shelf

Came across these guys in a store and just had to take a pic of them for the contest. Taken on my Moto X. Some minor editing with G+ photos to be in black and white to bring out the grain in the wood a wee bit more, and a little bit of cropping. But mostly it isn't edited too much. I think this is the best and sharpest photo I have taken with my Moto X so far. I am really happy with it and not bad for a spur of the moment shot.

I took this picture from a Samsung Galaxy S3. It was taken early in the morning in a parking lot and one of the filters available on Instagram was used to edit this image.

I used Samsung Galaxy S4 to take this picture. It is a picture of Indian God known as Ganesh made from wood which was imported from a small village in India. I used Snapseed to edit/crop the picture.
