Weird Charging Pattern on my Moto G5?

Recently, my device battery has started acting strangely. The battery will drain like normal, but once plugged in, it will rapidly drop to 0%, where the percentage will stay. This means that if the device is unplugged, it immediately shuts itself off. Only after that power off will the device register the charge, suddenly jumping up in charge. I'm not sure what caused this issue. The device was recently updated to Oreo, so maybe that plays into it??? Either way, having the phone force a restart anytime it charges has become annoying, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT) This picture sorta demonstrates the issue, where you can see the rapid battery dropoff once it's plugged in, the immediate rise in charge after a reboot, and then that flatline where the device has been charging but won't register the charge until the charger is unplugged and it reboots.

Have you tried other charging cables/plugs? Does the same thing happen?

Yeah, this has been going on for a couple weeks at this point, and this pattern has shown up on multiple chargers. One thing I noticed after playing around with it was that the issue isn't as severe when using a less powerful turbo charging brick, I'm guessing that maybe that could be apart of it?
