weird graphics at unlock screen

Hi
I suddenly started seeing some weird graphics appear when using the keypad for pin unlock/logon to my phone.
Its only there when I press either the 2 or 3 keys.
Attached a screen grab
I don't recognise the graphics to see if I can guess what's interfering

Anyone else seen this?

Are you rooted or unrooted? If unrooted, try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition: Reset: Google Nexus 4 | T-Mobile Support

Hi

Phone is completely stock and updated to the latest 4.4.4
I wiped the cache as you said and that seems to have done the trick!
Thanks - that was very weird
Any ideas on why it happened?
