Hi Team

This is definitely a weird one and I can't seem to figure out how to fix it.
My wife just got her Evo, coming from an old "dumb" phone.
The folks at Sprint transfered contacts from her old phone to her Evo and they definitely show up. Issue is that NONE of the contacts are showing up online in her gmail account!

I checked to make sure sync was on, and also made sure she was logging into the CORRECT gmail account.

So they're on the phone but not showing up synced with Google. Is there a way to fix this without manually entering all 200+ contacts into gmail?

Thanks

Your contacts are most likely stored as "phone" contacts as opposed to "google" contacts.

I don't know what the other thread says but an easy way is to backup all contacts to SD, then import them but as Google contacts.
