Question Weird noises from idle phone???

Hi. Recently I've noticed a very faint outgoing call sound from my phone, when the phone is idle and locked! The same noise you hear when your calling someone and waiting for them to answer. It only lasts a few seconds and is almost so quiet you nearly cant hear it. Then it goes why would this happen and has anyone else experienced this? Also Valery rarely my phone will emit a high pitched short rising squeal. Also when locked and idle. No notification accompanies this. It's a totally different sond to any notification. It's a samsung a 15 . Thanks

Very interesting article. But would that account for ringback tone when the phone is idle and locked too?

I'm wondering if the little earpiece speaker is something up. I've certainly heard this kind of thing happen with speakers in general, even when they're not active (but still have power). But I'm not technical enough to say for sure that it can happen with things like a ringback tone.
