I was on a local road in my area when I lost signal during a call. Signal came back about a minute later down the road. However, it remained on "H" the entire time, I never got LTE. Im in a significantly solid LTE area.

When I arrived at work I put it in airplane mode for a minute then reset and LTE came back.

Has anyone else seen this happen?

That exact situation hasn't happened to me, however what I've experienced is that when I've gotten off the plane. My phone says 3G, and I have to toggle airplane mode on and off... Then my phone will say LTE. Resetting the radios helps ...

Im on ATT. Maybe there was an issue with the towers or something on my way to work. Thats a long stretch though for it to have signals down. Also, maybe I just needed a radio reset like I did.

Its possible , is it a area you normally travel with no issues?

Yeah, like every day! They were doing roadwork though where it was all torn out getting prepped for repaving. I know its ridiculous but it wasnt until I drove over that section that this happened. Could that have anything to do with it? Are radio emitters now underground lol.

I'm not sure if that could do anything, but keep a eye on it and see what happens.

The only time I've had that happen is if I'm actively streaming data. If something happens and the signal drops to 3G and I'm using data, it'll stay on 3G until it's rested a bit after the data use stops.

I had Waze running at the time, maybe that was it? Again, this is the first time in my Android life this ever happened to me.

Maybe, but would require more testing to know for sure that's what's happening.

I get stuck on 3G quite often, and have to toggle airplane mode on/off to get LTE back.
I'm on Sprint, and there seems to be multiple reports of this happening.
Knowing that it is happening on other carriers, makes me believe there is an issue on the phone with the band thresholds and deciding when to switch.
