Weird sound glitch.

After the phone has been restarted, the first video I pass on either Facebook or Instagram causes a short burst of sound before muting.
I have all social media autoplay videos set to mute by default. This glitch only happens on the first one I pass and only after a restart.
Anyone else had this glitch?

Hello, I have the same problem. I tried to reset the phone, to update the firmware but it remains this annoying sound to the first audio / video that is played even if the sound is muted and the phone is in vibrating mode.

Does anyone have a solution?

Yeah, that's exactly it. Even on apps where they are set to mute.

Same problem has been observed around early Oct.
I sent my phone to huawei customer service. They couldn't replicate the issue always. Replaced the mother board but I still encountered same problem.

The situation is like yours too.
Scheduled power off at night.
Scheduled on next day.
Go to apps with videos eg Facebook and will sometimes have this cluck sound.

Can be annoying if you use the phone in daytime when your partner was asleep.

Saw that mate 20 users too had reported similar problem.

Wondering if this is a bug on the hardware?

By the way, when you observed this problem, what's the room temperature where your phone was.

Mine was in air conditioned room around 26 degrees celeius.

I tried to replicate this issue outside of air conditioned room and had not successfully doing so.

Wondering what's Hua wei is thinking of solving this issue.
