Weird Stuck Email Notification in Limbo!

I had sent an email from one account on my phone to another. The email had an attachment that was too big so I deleted the email when it was being sent. Every time I restart my phone, I get a notification that the email failed. I check the Sent folder and there is no email. I deactivated the email account and reactivated the account and continue to get the notification. Other than deleting the notification, it's really no big deal but more of an annoyance that I can't get rid of it. Any suggestions??
 
Try going to the App Manager, select Email or Exchange Services, and Clear Cache and Force Stop. See if that helps.
