weird texts since last night's update...

an update came across last night, so i went with it.

since then, i've gotten several weird texts that start with: //LL:1563:1351944150964 (or some other number), and the continue beyond that.

thoughts?

Are you using Handcent text messaging? I installed this after the update & getting random texts of this nature. Uninstalled Handcent & I have not seen one of these texts since then.

i am, actually. but like Handcent too much to uninstall! odd.

I uninstalled handcent then reinstalled it from backup predating OTA for FI27. Had to manually recreate my handcent settings. No more weird texts (yet!!!) Probably can just uninstall then reinstall handcent app from play store.

Mine was sending them. I uninstalled it an installed GoSMS. U can still customize, UI is nicer. And u can assign tones to different ppl.
