Weird Txt from 1969

I keep getting a weird txt message from "6245" dated "Wed, Dec 31, 1969". I cannot open it. Any ideas? Is this like some weird Sci Fi movie, where I go back in time to 1969 and text message myself in the future?? Is my Dinc on drugs?? Am I on drugs???

There is an SMS trojan floating around the Android world. There is a very good chance that this is that. I would delete it and make sure you don't click on any links or attachments within the body of the message.

the sms trojan is an apk file disguised as a media player that sends sms messages in the background.

This type of thing happened with jailbroken iphone users. You can't get a virus from a text message. This is more like a ghost or spam message. Just delete it

I was deleting a text thread from my boyfriend the other day and it forced closed. When the thread list reopened, it said I had a thread dated Dec 31 1969 with my boyfriend's name as the sender. I could not open it and every time I tried to delete it nothing happened. It eventually went away on its own.
