Weirdest problems with your phone hardware wise?

I wanna hear all the weird problems you had with your phones ( doesn't have to be nexus 4) with hardware. E.g: missing buttons you know! So in my case, parts of my screen aren't responding to touch, specifically in the horizontal middle and vertically bottom right. So I have to constantly switch between orientations just to text! And can you believe Im using that phone now? Lol

That sounds like a broken digitizer. Possibly due to a drop or a defect. Consider a replacement or try sending for repair through Google/LG and see what happens.
