It happened today my original 1 week old shift had some screen issues among other things and had to be exchanged. I have only has this one for about an hour but so far it feels better than the other one. I noticed the notifications light is brighter the screen sits better inside the aluminum frame even the qwerty has more snap to it.

The lady that helped me at the Radio Shack was very nice exchanged the old Shift did not give me a hard time at all. When she was done swapping the phones she started telling me about task killers. Poor think it took her a while to complete swapping the phones a line had formed so rite there in front of all this people she got a lecture on Android systems and task killer and how they are not necessary...lol

Just thought I would share,
Dave

Glad to hear you get your replacement. How did she take your your comments on task killers hope you didn't start a riot in the store.

Na it wasn't to bad I talked everyone listened I think she might have learned something. Hopefully she won't be making that recommendation to anyone else again.

I hope three isn't a charm. Glad things went smoothly for you.

I'm still on my first EVO. Awesome phone. :)

That's weird. The "task killer tip" must be in their Radio Shack playbook. They tried to tell me about task killers when I bought my Shift at Radio Shack. I just said, "I know what they are, and I don't use them." LOL

I'm thinking maybe they got a lot of returns on Evo's for battery life issues and were hoping to help avoid a repeat with the Shift.
