Well it finally happened...

The N4 finally managed to slip from my hand onto the pavement. Fortunately the phone only sustained damage on the side silver bezel but it still feels bad and doesn't look mint anymore

Would the tpu case hide the silver lining bezel?

Yes. Mine wraps up around the face of the phone, so if you set it down face-down, the glass doesn't touch the table.

Sorry to hear that. This is the reason why, I dont play with my phone alot until I have a case which should be here within the next few hours.
