Whacky Keyboard

[AC Question]

I have owned a Galaxy s4 for about 3 years now I think, or close to it. I just recently started having a keyboard issue. I messed around with ever single setting, even down to cursor speed and all that jazz.

When I type, my keyboard will pick up random letters that are on the opposite side of the keyboard. If I have the swype function turned on, it makes it loads worse.

I figured it was a keyboard issue so I downloaded Google Keyboard. Nope. Same thing. I believe it works slightly better than the Samsung one, but still fails me.

So I resorted to using the Swype keyboard and I hate it. I don't like swyping all the time, but it's the only way to make a comprehensive sentence, or else I'm typing gibberish.

Any ideas? It's beyond stressful.

Have tried force stopping the keyboard app? And delete any cache in the app. If that doesn't do it, try wiping the cache partition...you'll want to find that on Google and make sure you get it right!!!
