Note 5 is a ''premium'' Expensive phone. What about if a pixel is dead on the oled screen. Does samsung accept that as normal or buyer can demand a replacement...??

Well if brand new, I would return it to the carrier (if you are in the US). If you bought the phone directly from Samsung, call or go by the store and tell them you want it replaced if new, repaired if you have had it for awhile.

I think it would be covered under the manufacturers warranty, check with your carrier or samsung to find out.

Most manufactures policy is that its not a fuctional issue...but i believe that so much expensive devices must be flawless.....

One pixel is not going to make a material difference in the screen display quality in normal use. I would not mess with it if the phone is otherwise working correctly.

I just literally walked into a Samsung repair center and they do replace the screen if there is a dead or burnt out pixel. It's covered under warranty and they fix it at no charge. If you have a walk in center, it takes 2 hours to fix otherwise you can ship it in and have it fixed.
