What alternatives are there to Flickr for storing photos?

It there any way to add/download the photos on Flickr/Picasa back to your phone? The native Flikr App does not allow it

I had this same question a few days ago:

Sadly I got no responses, so I have a feeling the answer is no. Such a pain, but what I did was long press on the picture I wanted, hit share photo link, hit messages, and then just copy and paste the link into the browser. I really wish there was an easy way to just "save," I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to do that, especially if it's your account and you own the photos.

3D gallery works great! It's awesome to browse my picasa pictures on there. It doesn't seem to want to find my pictures on the internal memory though.

you can view all of your flickr photos on the incredible. you just go to the photo album and on the bottom i have icons for facebook and flickr. choose flickr and it connects to your account there. the real question for me is how do i add icons to that list on the bottom? like for picasa?

I downloaded the apk, copied it to my sd card, opened it with astromanager, and tried to install it, but it said app did not install??

anyone know of another source for the app? or a different method?

Creed, have you tried "unchecking" the "unknown sources" box in settings>applications first? says it is to "allow installation of non-Market applications"...

Yes, I had to do that just to get it to open, I guess I'll try to find a different download to see if it will open, it should at least install and open the 3d gallary app even without having a picasa app shouldn't it?

If I can get this to work I'll convert my pics over to picasa from webshots since webshots does not have a app.

The photobucket app allows you to download you pictures. I don't know of any limitations on space

Broke down and opened a flickr account, but I use Picasa on my computer and generally just upload photos from my phone straight to facebook. Like most I'm looking for an all encompasing photo solution.

I use the Picasa one with my phone now. I don't recall adding an app for it though. Gallery 3d then shows those albums automatically if you choose.

there is an app called Just Pictures that I downloaded in market. So far it's worked very well for letting me view my Picasa albums on my Inc.

I use Smugmug and pay 150.00 a year (hey I am a photographer ).
I know they have an iphone app, wish they had an adroid app.

i have the same issue, it says "application not installed" at the end. i have installed google earth and swype using this method so not sure what went wrong here. i downloaded the same file that jason shared on that 4shared website.

yep same thing, I was successful in installing the fandango app this way, but can't get the 3d gallery app to work this way, and downloaded the same app that Jasonb pointed us to??

I just havn't messed with it anymore, but I'd like to get the app up and running, then I'll have an excuse to upload all my pics to picasa.
