What app do you use to tether your hot spot free I used foxfi on my note2 now verizon has dumbed it

I was using PDANet as a USB tether, but every so often Samsung's installer keeps knocking off my connectivity.

That didn't work for me. So I'm using the wifi hotspot toggle from play store.

i purchased the app long ago so i'm not sure what happens with the free app....although the free version kicks you off every so often i think. i can count on foxfi way more than my stupid home dsl....

foxfi and pdanet combined.....try just using foxfi, you set it up just like wifi router at home, give it a name, set a password, ignore the pop up from verizon.....

DO NOT UPDATE YOUR GS4 if you want to continue using FoxFi. Verizon has blocked FoxFi now. Just another update from Verizon that does nothing most people use and then they slip in the blocking of this tethering app that so many use. This is going to push me to root my phone which I have never done. I am so sick of Verizon pulling a fast one with this blocking and also pushing down more bloatware. Too bad Android Central didn't check into this before talking up this latest update.

I just use the stock app activated by a third party widget. If you get a subscription notice screen, just press the home button.

Thanks for the tips. Verizon is really trying to put a hiccup on using foxfi but your tips helped.
