What are all of these marks? Just cosmetic?

There are two white marks at the top and bottom of my (Verizon) Note 4, are these just cosmetic? Also, not as obvious, about 1.5" from the bottom on the power button side of the phone there are 2 more white marks - almost unnoticeable. And, between the marks, if you look closely, there appears to be a slightly raised area. Does anyone else see this on their phone and do you know what it's for? (These are all stock images since I'm at work and can't get a picture of my phone with my phone.

Those are where the various antennas are located, it's perfectly normal.

This.

Those are on all Note 4s -- Except the 2nd picture. That is Verizon only (for some reason they have a weird dimple on the side) -- But either way it is normal! :).

According to sammobile.com it improves the reception. I just don't know why Samsung didn't make it less noticeable.

I thought it has something to do with the directional recording. When you use the voice recorder you have options to limit the direction from which the sound is captured (settings are: normal, interview, meeting, and voice memo). Normal picks up sound from all around; Interview only picks up sound from front and back; Meeting picks up sound from up to 8 directions; and Voice Memo works best when you hold the phone close to you mouth.

It is because of the antenna design, which is located in the band. The "breaks" separate the different antennas. Verizon has an additional antenna compared to the other carriers on the lower right.

It is also an lte requirement to have two lte antennas.
