What Are Must Have Apps Once Rooted?

Just successfully rooted my first phone (gnex) whith the great help from the forum. Now my question is what are some of the best apps that I can take advantage of now that I am rooted. BTW the phone is amazing, coming from the original dinc. Thanks!

I agree with AdFree, Root Explorer and Titanium Backup. Also don't forget the paid version of ROM Manager. Its been with me since the OG Droid.

SetCPU- Adjust CPU speeds... works great for saving battery life when the screen is off (set up profiles) ....Overclock the CPU (with the right kernel)
ROM Manager- Flash CWM for getting into recovery.. Nandroids (backs up your entire phone including the ROM)
Root Explorer- Read/Write system files
Titanium Pro- Delete/freeze unwanted apps... also backs up & restores app data
MyBackup Pro- Backup/restore apps and app data, settings, homescreens, alarms, messages, etc...

Just downloaded ES File Explorer from the market and so far seems really good. Basically like a free version of root explorer.

I was about to ask if Light Flow needed root, as I thought it worked without it.

But the most important ones for me are TB and Adfree.

This matches my list 90%... I use TiBu but not MBPro.. do you find a need for both? I do like the sound of MBPro backing up homescreens, though this can be done with TiBu if you use Nova Launcher as I do. MBPro backs up your SMS messages though?? That sounds very useful.. hate losing them after every wipe, lol..

Titanium Backup backs up SMS messages too. You have to restore system data to get the SMS messages back.

Oh.. as a rule I don't restore any system data between ROMs.. I think that's usually asking for issues. The only system app I restore is Nova launcher as it doesn't cause any problems and keeps my homescreens so nice

I use Rom manager, but avoid ROM helper features and stick with clockwork recovery for better control.
