What are some common issues with LG G3 and what is it worth now?

How long have you had the LG G3? Looking into getting one myself now that it's been out for a year. Trying to find people who have had theirs for the whole year.

I've had mine for almost exactly one year. No problems. But... selling it now because I wanted a Nexus.

The g3 had issues with notifications on WiFi when it was updated to lollipop. It just refused to receive notifications on wifi..common issue on the Verizon model

Just for the record....

The LG G3 has lost most of its value. I ended up putting mine on eBay with a lot of accessories and it sold for $185. I should have set a slightly higher starting price but I am definitely disappointed. It was unlocked and I included a case, extended battery w/case, a charging dock, a 64GB memory card and an extra screen protector. In shock at how fast it lost so much value.

Oh well... I bought a Nexus 6P and love it ... although it's bigger than the LG G3 so I'm still getting used to that.

It's a good phone for the price. I would not pay more than $200 for one unless it had a lot of extras and was in perfect shape. Sound quality is good, voice quality is good. Comfortable to hold. OK battery life, I use mine for work, heavily, and unplugging at 7 I recharge by 1. Camera is OK.
Basically, if you want a phone that works and may or may not get updates, be reliable and have cheap extras. It's great. If you want top of the line camera and more, not it.

I have had mine for 11 months and love the phone. Only problem I had is that the camera module started acting up and wouldn't focus properly. It was still under warranty but my T mobile had no loaner phones. I couldn't be without my phone for 10 days so I replaced the module myself which was really easy. I think this was a known problem on a certain batch of phones according to Tmobile. Battery life is good, phone charges fast. I was thinking of upgrading to LG 4 but decided not to as the improvements were not worth the additional money I would have to shell out. Besides, LG 3 wll get the new update to marshmallow shortly.

I've had the LG G3 since late November, and it has been a marvelous device. I haven't heard of the device itself having any kind of big issues; however, I've seen/heard stories of some people's devices overheating a bit with moderate use. I only get a slightly "heated" feel when I'm running Netflix on it for a while; but it isn't something I deal with every day, and heavy use for me rarely equals the phone heating up. I got it from Rogers for $0 on a two-year contract; but I know that the phone itself has dropped in price since the G4's release (is it still in the $500-ish range? It's something like that, I believe); and all biases aside, it would be a very good device to purchase, especially now that the G4 is taking more of the "price heat" now, so to speak.
