Has there ever been a "Google phone" yet?

Otterbox definitely made a Defender for the Galaxy Nexus phone,
which is sitting on my shelf right now.(have not been used in over 2 years)
Although I guess most people don't consider this Verizon Samsung
Galaxy Nexus a "true" Nexus phone.

I wouldn't be surprised if they made one. The defender is a great case, just too big for my liking. I did have one that took a 400 foot drop without damage to the phone though. I stick to the symmetry cases from Otterbox. Much slimmer and provide plenty of protection.

I emailed Otterbox a few days ago and they said no. But I'll email them again to see if anything changed.

As I thought about it more, they might not make one because of the placement of the fingerprint sensor. With the way Otterboxes are made, that would be an odd place to have to leave space to access it. So I'm thinking that you are correct and there won't be one.

for the Pixel phones. (note my original question clearly stated "Defender")
They are only making a commuter case... no sign of Defender cases.

I've done that often and i find that a little paprika goes a long way lol
